The Alhambra Police Department has a temporary holding facility for arrested individuals.  If the jail is overcrowded, inmates are transferred to the Los Angeles County Men’s Central Jail (a.k.a. Twin Towers) or the Lynwood Jail for females.  Furthermore, once an accused person is arraigned, they are transferred to one of the two main facilities.  The Alhambra City Jail also holds Federal and ICE inmates.
